Vallenato Music as a Pedagogical Strategy in the Learning Process of Students at the National Institute of Technical and Professional Training of San Juan del Cesar, La Guajira

Abstract
The relevance of the research lies in designing a proposal for the implementation of Vallenata music as a pedagogical strategy in the learning process of the students of the National Institute of Professional Technical Training of San Juan del Cesar la Guajira, Colombia. Its specific objectives are oriented a: Diagnose the disposition of teachers in the development of pedagogical strategies to raise Vallenata music in students, identify the airs of Vallenata music present in the municipality, define the benefits of including Vallenata music as a pedagogical strategy in the process of learning of the students and present the pedagogical strategies for the implementation of the proposal on Vallenata music in the learning process of the students of the National Institute of Professional Technical Training of San Juan del Cesar la Guajira. Vallenato music has become a significant reference for the inhabitants of the Colombian Caribbean Coast. Methodologically, the research was based on an empirical-analytical paradigm, a quantitative approach, with a feasible Project typology, a non-experimental transactional field design, using observation techniques, an interview through a questionnaire, reliability through the coefficient of Alfha Crombach reaching 0.87, that is, a highly reliable instrument. These results allow us to consider that effectively within the context being studied, the introduction of pedagogical strategies in terms of raising Vallenato music in students within their sociocultural structure is an element of positive advancement for teachers.
