Arts, Crafts, and Posthuman Pedagogy: Reconfiguring Creativity and Learning in the Era of Entanglement

Abstract

This article examines the reconfiguration of creativity and learning through posthuman pedagogy, analyzing how posthuman thought—as a critical displacement of anthropocentrism—redefines creative and educational processes. Using a theoretical-conceptual approach supported by emblematic artists (ORLAN, Harbisson, Kac, Van Herpen) and pedagogical experiences (BIOARTE Project, IDARTES workshops), the study reveals that posthuman art and education transcend the "genius" or "authoritarian teacher" figures, positioning themselves as co-creative spaces where technology and matter act as active agents. Findings indicate that posthuman pedagogy is an urgent ethical model for cultivating response-ability amid contemporary systemic crises. Implementation pathways include digital and material literacy, and the creation of interdisciplinary laboratories fostering experimentation and intra-action.
