Abstract

Today’s world needs companies that are sustainable in all their operational processes, green logistics presents a series of important alternatives in the generation of value, the continuous improvement of processes and the effective use of resources. In that order of idea, and looking at the need that companies have today to improve efficiency and operational performance throughout their organizational structure, we present the research proposal for the design of
a green logistics and circular economy system that improves the efficiency and performance of companies in the city of Barranquilla to which environmental strategies and effective use of resources will be applied with the aim of seeking the economic and ecological balance of companies and the environment, in such a way that a win-win and value is generated for economic entities and a great positive impact for the environment that urgently needs changes. All this would be achieved with a systematic combination of companies in their process of repair, recycling, reuse, and remanufacturing of products, adding a touch of
environmental strategies and the efficient use of resources, thus generating sustainable income for companies. from the city of Barranquilla.
